Gen 26:1-3,6,12-14. *The best proof of an encounter with God in the eyes of the world is riches. *The greatest proof that God is with a man is all-round sufficiency. Phil. 4:19, 1sam 1:1-20. PROBLEM WITH GETTING HEAVENLY ATTENTION. 1. YOU CONSIDER MEN. 2. YOU ARE GUIDED BY HUMAN CALCULATION. 3. YOU PRAY BUT DON'T TRUST. 4. YOU ARE EARTHLY CONSCIOUS. 5. YOU CARE FOR YOURSELF. 6. YOU DON'T BELIEVE IN GIVING. 7. YOU ARE NOT EXPECTANT OR HOPEFUL. 8. GOD DON'T CARE ABOUT HOW I SPEND MY MONEY OR USE MY GOODS. 9. Psalm 50:1-15. *Ecclesiastes 11:3. *If you can pray, you can pay. *Prayer is a request your charity gifts is the vehicle. *Man is possessive in nature. God tests the commitment level of man to him through giving. * Examples:Cain&Abel, Abraham, Widow of Zarephat, Hannah, Solomon, Shunamite woman, The Rich young man, The Apostles, etc. *If you can't give in God you can't live in God. *If you can pray to God for money in the church you should pay to God through that same church. Finally. 1cor 9:9-14.
